Privacy Policy
What we collect
Account data (username, email, hashed password), gameplay data (actions, chat, transactions), and technical data (IP address, device/browser info, session cookies) needed to run the game and keep it fair.
Why we collect it
To operate your account, secure the game against cheating and abuse, respond to support requests, and send account-critical email (verification, password reset). We do not sell your data.
Retention
Account and gameplay data is retained while your account is active. Ledger and transaction records are retained in de-identified form indefinitely for game economy integrity, even after account deletion — the numeric ids that anchor them stay, the personal data behind them does not.
Deletion & export
You may request account deletion at any time from account settings. Deletion anonymizes your account (username, email, and IP history are scrubbed; your character is renamed "Departed #id") rather than physically removing rows the ledger depends on. You may export a copy of your data as JSON before deleting.
Age
Second Ledger is for players 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
